Mass celebration to commemorate the beginning of Ignatian Week On 25th July, there was flag hoisting to mark the beginning followed by Eucharistic celebration to begin the blessed Ignatian Week at school. The main celebrant for the mass was our Rector and Director Rev Fr Joseph D'Souza SJ. All the Christian students and staff joined for the holy mass. Inauguration of PRERANA- INIGO FEST "Excellence in all we do for the greater glory" PRERANA is the Annual cultural fest held in the commemoration of the Feast of St Ignatius of Loyola in SJIPS. It is a perfect time for all the students to exhibit their various talents and skills. There are various intra and inter class competitions held during the fest. To inaugurate the special day, we had Fr John Lang Bosco, the finance officer of SJII as the chief guest for the function. He threw considerable light on the life of Ignatius. In a very creative way, the co-ordinators of the program announced the fest open with a clapper board used for film shooting, along with our Rector, Headmistress and chief guest. PRERANA The INIGO FEST PRERANA was held for two days from 26th July to 27th July for all the students. There were various creative cultural competitions for the students of classes NURSERY TO 7TH to take part. Some of the creative pursuits were, Fancy dress, Collage making with dhal and other sprouted seeds, handmade jewellery, Solo dance, Quiz, key bunch making, Nail Art, group Skit, Cooking without fire etc. There was enthusiastic and active participation from the students. The valedictory ceremony of the INIGO fest was held on 28/07/2023 with cinematic presentations, distribution of prizes for the winners and a variety of cultural events. The chief guest for the closing ceremony was Mr. C G Chaitanya who brought about awareness in our students regarding traffic guidelines during his speech.
