Every year Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated on October 2 to mark the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. He is called the RastraPita of our nation. As mark of respect to this great leader, a short programme was held in the school auditorium and Fr. Felix Anand SJ, the director of SJIPS being the chief guest of the day, spoke on the two main qualities of Gandhiji that is truth and non-violence. The students also came up with a beautiful speech and presentation to mark reverence to this great leader.
