March 09, 2023

A woman is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform. Diane Mariechild St. Joseph's Indian Primary School celebrated "International Women's Day," on 09th March, 2023. It was a small gesture to appreciate the services of our dear women teachers. They have been discharging their duty, in shaping the minds of young students, excellently, with total commitment, despite being mothers, wives, daughters and sisters. The programme was organized in the school board room. The programme began with cutting of the ribbon by all the women teachers along with the Headmistress. It was followed by a small prayer service. After which, there was cutting of the cake, fun games and video presentation. In the address the director, Fr. Joseph D'Souza, SJ, remembered his fond childhood memories growing up with his sisters and said that it is the women teachers, who are able to care for the students better. The celebration ended with a high-tea for the teachers. The programme was well-appreciated by the teachers
